Be myself/be me

Hello,

Would be incorrect to use "myself" instead of "me" in: "It's good for me when I get reminded every once in a while that I need to be me"?

I found the sentence above on "fraze.it", so I am not the author.

Thank you.

“Myself” is reflective of another word such as ‘me’ or ‘I’, so in this case you might use:

“It’s good for me, when I get reminded every once in a while, that I need to be myself.”

It is a reinforcement of the idea of ‘me’.
