Be it / Whether

Hello. Could you please tell me if there's any difference between the following sentences?

1) You can't tell anything you want, whether it's true or not.

2) You can't tell anything you want, be it true or wrong(not).

Thanks.

"Tell" is OK, but "say" is what you want here. The opposite of true is false. The opposite of wrong is right.
