Please explain to me the use of "be" in the context? when do we use inversion? can we not just simply use whether it is....?

Jigneshbharati whether be it I've never seen this word order. It should be "whether it be", which is an old-fashioned form of "whether it is" that some people like to use now and then. The inverted form "be it" ( without "whether") can substitute for "whether it be".

I've never seen this word order. It should be "whether it be", which is an old-fashioned form of "whether it is" that some people like to use now and then.

The inverted form "be it" (without "whether") can substitute for "whether it be".
