My friend is asking me where is the cheapest place to vacation. I say:

I personally think it's China. I'm not completely sure though, but be it cheap. My guess would be China.

Can you say be it cheap. And what does it mean?

I can't think of a use for "be it cheap" but in your original sentence, you could say "it must be cheap" as a supposition.
