Be heavy in ... / be light on ...

I found the passage below. ‘Heavy’ is used with ‘in,’ while ‘light’ is used with ‘on.’ Is this correct? Or is one of them wrong?

Diet is one of the key factors affecting how long a person lives. In particular, the Mediterranean and many Asian diets are thought to be the healthiest diets. Both diets are heavy in vegetables and light on fat and meat.

Koji from Japan Is this correct? Well it's ok. The use of "in" and "on" are quite variable, especially for idioms.
