Be going to vs will

Hello,

I'm taking this test:

It's a nice day today but it

a. 's going to snow tomorrow
b. 'll snow tomorrow

I think answer b is correct, but what about answer a? Is it correct too?

Could I say It's going to snow tomorrow?

Are there any differences in the use?

Thank you in advance.
