Be going to

Hello,

We use" be going to" for future tense such as-

1. We are going to meet John.

Is a verb required after "be going to"?

Can we use a noun also?

2. We are going to zoo tomorrow.

Thanks.

hanuman_20002. We are going to zoo tomorrow.
You can use a non-count or proper noun directly.
We are going to school tomorrow.
We are going to Paris tomorrow.
We are going to work tomorrow. (But this is ambiguous, because work may be either a noun or verb.)
