Is the first one used when someone asks you and wants to see you get frightened?; and the second is asking and wants to see the face simply frightened, am I correct?

Well, that's close enough, but I don't think those sentences are very useful in daily life. The first thought that I had was that this was an acting class. The teacher is asking the student
