Be done with

Hello.
I want to know the meaning of 'be done with'.
e.g:
1) the two-fold contradictory tendency, on the one hand to preserve the body, to keep its form intact, or to retain parts of it; on the other hand the desire to be done with it, to put it out of the way, to annihilate it completely. Mummification and burning are the two extreme expressions of this two-fold tendency.

There are other sentences; like:
2) finish each day and be done with it
3) be done with old furniture, etc.

What does the expression 'be done with' mean?
Do any of the sentences (and any other examples you recall), imply hatred of the subject towards the object, or a similar feelingg?

Thanks in advance

"be done with (something)" means to put it behind you, forget about it, not worry about it any more, not have anything more to do with it. "hatred" is too strong. Depending on context, you may be fed up with something, or want to get rid of it.
