Be clear about

Is it okay to say:

"I am not clear about this grammar construction."

How can I otherwise express this phrase when something isn't clear to me?

Can I also say:

"It isn't clear to me."?

Thank you in advance.

Marold I am not clear about this grammar construction. [It / This construction] isn't clear to me. Both are perfectly fine.

  • Marold I am not clear about this grammar construction.
  • [It / This construction] isn't clear to me.
  • Both are perfectly fine.
  • The first, as you correctly suspect, uses 'clear' in an unusual, but idiomatic, way.
