Be careful on roads.

Be careful on roads.

Does the above slogan make sense to you? Is it clearer to rewrite as "Be careful when you are on the roads/walking/driving?" Thanks.

Top answer

No; the original is sufficient. It does not indicate the nature of the danger, but neither do your rewrites.

Thanks, Mister.

But does the original sound natural to you? If not, are there better ways to say it? Thanks.
