Be blown away, IMPORTANT!!!

Hi, I have to write a letter to my host family and now I got this sentence:

Normally I'm a person with a lot to say, but I'm a bit blown away, you will never know how happy you made me.

A friend told me this and she's native, but 'blown away', is there another world for it, because this word I don't use.
Thanks

Hi,
louiSTI'm a bit blown away...
Informally, it means that you are overwhelmed by a number of feelings. In fact, those feelings affect you so strongly
that you can't seem to act in a normal way. You are excited.

Hum, I actually wanted to say that I'm out of words (if this exists)
Anyway, I've already sent the E-Mail and I chose:

Normally I'm a person with a lot to say, but I'm left speechless, you will never know how happy you made me.

Is this okay as well?
But thanks,
LS
