battery power

How would you say:
My computer turns off by itself on 75% battery.
When my computer drops to 75% battery, it turns off.

Top answer

I've never seen a computer like that. Perhaps you mean My computer switches/turns itself off when only seven percent of battery power is left. CB

"When my computer drops to 75% battery, it turns off."

It's not correct?

Computers usually don't drop, unless they fall off the desk.

When the battery level drops to 75%, my computer turns off (by itself).

Did you mean "laptop" by any chance, Anonymous?

How about:

- When the battery level reaches 75%, my computer turns itself down.

PS. Hmm... perhaps I should have written: turns itself off

"reaches" would imply going up, so that might sound as if you're recharging the battery.

And yes, it should be "off", not "down".

What I am trying to say is that when I fully charge my laptop, and it goes down to 75% battery, it turns off. There is a defect.

Could you tell me how to say this as well please?

I barely used any of the charge of the battery.
