Battersea Reach?

I am wondering about 'Battersea Reach.' I googled it and it looked like a name of a development project in London. But I am not sure what 'reach' means here. The power of stretching out or extending action, as a social development? Or an extended portion of land or water?

Could you please let me know what 'reach' means here? Thank you very much in advance!
