Bathtub vs shower bath

What is the difference between "a bathtub" and "a shower bath"?

Thanks.

"Shower bath" is not a known term for me. I can only guess it means a bathtub fitted with some arrangement for taking a shower while standing in it.

A "bathtub" is a large receptacle that you fill with water and then sit in or recline in in order to wash yourself. A "shower" is a spray of water that you stand under while washing yourself. A "shower bath" is a combined shower and bath. You can either use it as an ordinary bath, or you can stand in the bathtub under a shower attachment and take a shower.
