Bathing

Context: At home, ask someone to make the water warmer.

"The water is too hot. Please make it warmer."


Context: At home, ask someone to put the water on the stove for bathing[bathing dish or vessel].

"Please put the water on the stove."

I don't know how to describe the dish that is used for heating up the water on the stove / what the name is.
