Basketball damage

I am the owner of single family home beside a semi which is rented. Both driveways are attached unfortunately. With little room to park they want to have a basket ball net. I have explained that without a doubt there would be damage to cars but I don't think the message was taken. I would like a example letter to present to the tenant informing that they will be responsible for damages to cars parked .
