Basement stuff

A:

I'm still a newbie here. What forum rules did my posts violate? No, I'm not being a smartass. I'm NOT arguing with a moderator. I just want to know so I don't make that mistake again.
B:

Reading basement stuff is good sport, I know.
Seeing Demos drop the hammer, unphased by shouts of power abuse is what made me miss classes in graduate school.INFOLINKS_OFF>
The cited passages are from a forum. A is a newbie and he got warming from the mod. B was responding to him.

#1 Does basement stuff mean forum rules?

#2  What does "unphase" mean? It is not available in my dictionary.

#3 Why did B say " miss classes in graduate school"? Could you rephrase the words of B I highlighted in blue because I cannot understand or figure that out?

Many thanks!

I suppose "unphased" is an error for "unfazed". I can't make much sense of the rest of it.
