Hello,

I don't quite understand how to use the word "base". Can someone please explain by using the below examples. Thank you.


Base on the new information, I conclude that ABased on the new information, I conclude that A is right



We will write a new report base on the new information
We will write a new report based on the new information

I see these options:

1. By/From the new info I conclude
2. According to the latest info...
3. Taking the latest info into account,...

Though you can use "based" in the second sentence because this would refer to "report":

I will prepare a new report that will be based on the new information.

The other sentences are incorrect.

The sentences using base make no sense. The others are OK.
