What is the difference among these three? Here are a couple of very general comments.

'Barrister' and 'solicitor' are British terms. A barrister speaks for you in court. A solicitor prepares your case for the barrister. In some lower courts, a solicitor can speak in court.

These terms are not used in the USA, where the term is 'lawyer'.
