Dear Teachers,

- Do you call the thing in this picture "a street road barrier" or does it have other common names"?

Street = road , so both together are wrong. I'd call it a 'temporary street barrier' or a 'temporary road barrier'. I see that 'traffic barrier' is also in use.

Looks like a crowd control barrier to me - possibly, in the photo, being used in cordoning off one of the traffic lanes.
