Barn or granary? wich is more common?

0I tried to translate a word that is related to farm, a house where farmers keep the food the collect, and I came to words barn and granary... Is there a difference between those words? what is the most common word of the two? the one more people know about? 0-

0Both words are common but they do have different uses. Granary is specifically a place in which grain was stored, whereas a barn is a large farm building used for storing hay, straw or grain, or to house livestock or machinery. Does the context of the word not tell you which to use? 0-
