Hi,
I found this sentence but I'm not sure if it's correct. Can somebody say:
"I BARGAINED her DOWN to half what she originally wanted."
I ask because I know one can bargain a price down, but I'm not sure if one can say that to a person.
Also, I noticed the sentence contains "half what she wanted", shouldn't it be half of what she wanted?
apple cobra I'm not sure if one can say that to a person. Yes. It means that you and the other person haggled about the price for some time.

Yes.
It means that you and the other person haggled about the price for some time. She may have been asking twice as much as she really wanted. But you might have been a savvy buyer. The sentence seems to imply that you got the better deal.
