Bar Chart Pratice - 28-June-2018 - Thank you so much

The bar chart illustrates the proportions of internet users in various age groups from 15 to 65 plus in the UK over a 4-year period from 2003.


Overall, while the highest level of internet users was in the 15-25 age group, the elderly whose ages are 65 and more using the internet less than all of the other groups over the time shown.


Internet users between the two age groups (15-25) and (25-35) experienced nearly the same portions, with figures of the former rising from 4.3% in 2003 to 4.4% in 2006 and that of the latter from 4.2% to 4.3% during the same period.

Moreover, the portions of Internet users in the other three age groups (35-45), (45-55), and (55-65) increased gradually by 0.1% each year from 3.5%, 2.5% and 1.5% in 2003 respectively.


In contrast, people aged over 65 just started to use the Internet in 2004 with numbers standing at 0.4%. There was no significant change in the use of the Internet in the oldest age group, when the percentage of oldest Internet users saw a climb to 0.5% in 2005, then slightly returned to just under 0.5% in 2006.
