Bankruptcy

James is unemployed now. He works for a company. The company went into bankruptcy.

My question is on the word bankruptcy. Should it be 'the bankruptcy' or 'bankruptcy' ?

Please tell me.

Hello

I agree with Oni. "Go into bankruptcy" is an idiomatic phrase. You can say "go bankrupt" also.
