How would you naturally phrase this? Which word is correct?
Streaming tv shows uses takes a lot of bandwidth/data.

bandwidth
(Of course it takes a lot of data as well, but the current technological problem is more related to bandwidth than to data, so you probably want 'bandwidth'.)
