Hello, could you clarify the difference between the word "band" vs "strip, tape, ribbon"?
Or give examples where need to use the word "band" and not others?
"Band" , if using as a noun, holds things together. Most common : rubber band. But a 'band' doesn't have to be made of rubber.

Tape holds things together using an adhesive - some form of 'stickiness'. (As in Scotch tape, or masking tape)
Strip (noun) is a long narrow piece of material.
Ribbon is a long narrow strip
Thank you for your reply, do I understand correctly that all these words "strip, tape, ribbon" also can be used as "band" (to hold things together)?
