Balance

I heard the sentence on a movie but I couldn't get it. Someone please explain it to me.

'Be kind to everyone because everyone is fighting some sort of balance.'

Thanks.

It's "some sort of battle". It is a variation of a famous aphorism by Scottish writer Ian Maclaren.
