Bag it and bag your face

Hello,

Could you tell me please when I want a person to stop to talk only can I use these expressions 'Bag it or bag your face? I am asking this because they mean ' shut up and go away' but what if I have to say only 'shut up' without 'go away' ?

Thank you

Then use "Bag it!"

bag it = shut up

BTW, note

stop to talk (first you stop (doing whatever you're doing) and then you start talking)

and

stop talking (cease talking)

Hi!

'Bag your face' could also mean 'whatever, Shut up!'

But in other sense it also means 'Shut up and go away'

So, 'bag it' would be more appropriate but it's all depends how the listener interprets it , because one of the meaning of 'bag it' is 'go away'.

I would prefered to say just 'shut up'.

Regards.

Hi,

Sorry, but an answer from a native speaker is more appreciated.
