BADASS

Has "badass" positive or negative connotation? Is it an insult, to tell it to smb.?

I understand it, like "courageous", "daring". Did I get it right?

It's usually negative. Note that talking about any kind of *** *** is informal, and verging on slang. eg a badass eg a wiseass I advisenyou not to say such things until you feel your grasp of English and of English culture is pretty good.

  • The danger is not that you may give offence but more that you may sound a little silly.

Something like that. It means that you are dangerous in a fight, and by extension, generally formidable. It is slang, though, and therefore nebulous.
