bad words vs. swear words

Is there a meaning between those two phrases?

Hi, Is there a difference in meaning between those two phrases? If you are talking about 'words you would not say to the Queen', there's really no difference. They are very often called 'bad language' or 'foul language' .

I'm not entirely sure but I'm pretty sure bad words are words that are just impolite and then swear words are words that you shouldn't say at all.

An example of swear words would be the "F word" or the "C word"
