Bad words!

I found this article hysterical.

Let's bring back things like this: Oh my sainted aunt! Oh my stars and garters! and Dagnabit!

Nothing is more tedious than the same bad words said over and over.

Actuallly, to me the only offensive remark she utters is ' pimping your piehole'– that word is really repugnant to me. I think part of the 'same bad words' syndrome is that they become very much a part of one's idiolect over the years. ' for major ones.

I think part of the 'same bad words' syndrome is that they become very much a part of one's idiolect over the years. My own, though probably not the usual, are what I always say, I'm afraid: '***'s TEETH!' for minor irritants and 'F- you and the horse

Yes, but a head tilt, a piercing look, and a "AND the horse you rode in on!" speaks volumes without the F-bomb, doesn't it? I like the "***'s teeth!" That's right in the spirit of things.

Anyway, for one week I will try to cuss only with creativity.

For some reason that I don't remember, in my house, "Dagnabit" is always followed by "big rabbit!"
