Bad or heavy cough
I've googled it, but both seem to be acceptable. Still, I would like to know which one is correct. Can somene help me?

You can have a bad cold and a heavy cold, but heavy does not naturally collocate with cough.
Besides bad, you can have a troublesome, chesty, tickly, persistent or hacking cough.
