Grammar

backwards or inside out

How would you write each sentence?

1 He could have put the shirt on back to front/ the wrong way round.

2 I would say backwards if the front is at/on the back and inside out if the outer part of the sihrt is touching his skin.

Thanks

2 - He didn't put the shirt on inside out. ("inside out" is when the outside of the shirt is on the inside and the inside of the shirt is on the outside...ahum...you can see the tag in the back!)
