Backstab
Is backstab a compound word or a phrase? If you say it's a compound word then please explain why it can't be considered a phrase and if you say it's a phrase then please explain why it can't be considered a compound word.

Backstab doesn't appear in the 2 dictionaries that I have looked in but backstabbing is these as a noun (uncountable). I see it as a compund word, I wouldn't class is as a phrase as it is a single word.
