Backlogs of experience

Kindly advise me of the following points regarding the interpretation of the subject phrase.

1. The meaning of this phrase is that one has already a lot of experience.

2. In the light of the basic meaning of backlog, i. e. "uncompleted work", the meaning would be that one has learn a lot to acquire the experience.

1 & 2 are completely opposite. I am wondering which is correct.

It's not appropriate or correct to use 'backlog' in this context. It doesn't make any sense. I googled and the only place I found it was in a band review (the same one of several sites) that has been written in very poor English with so many mistakes it's virtually goobledegook.

I, like Nona, have a problem to understand this dubious usage.
