Hi,

Could you give me your comments on the following sentence?

Muscovites have quickly got used to a cup of coffee for 3-4 dollars and now they are adapting to a square metre worth $4000 in an old block of flats built back under Chruchev ‘s regime.
I'm especially interested in the usage of the word 'back' in this sentence.

Thanks a lot!
