Back to school

I hate this time of year; I guess it's a feeling of dread or something. Anyway, I'll be 'back to school' in a couple of days. Why do they have to call it
'back to school', anyway? There must be a nicer
way of describing it, surely?
Any suggestions?

It would be so pleasant to be a student going back to school again. "Back to school" sounds very nice to me.

I agree with you on the whole, but high school can be a horror when it comes to social relations, finding a girl friend, and all that. And college can be a lot of work if you're in a serio

Did you ever have that (common) nightmare when you have to prepare for an exam, or term paper?
