Sorry I couldn't keep up with you guys while I
was over there, but lightning zapped my 'puter.
Honest.
So anyone feel like giving me a recap of the last
few weeks? Or want to suggest any threads I just
shouldn't miss? (For that matter, are there any
movies out there I just shouldn't miss?)

Just ignore anything I wrote my posts have all been even more banal than usual.
I forget what critters attacked Suzi Elkins since you left but it seems as though critter attacks have been on a downturn lately.

Ovum has watched "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," but she's having a heck of a time finding anyone else who has seen it.
"Batman Begins" has mostly been trashed here too long, too wooden, etc.
There was a thread about how many times incidents of passing gas and getting kicked in the groin appear in kid's movies now.

Eric Garcia said he would rather get kicked in the groin than watch "The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl" again.
We have a full moon during summer solstice this year so plant crops.

Chris Bateman showed up and asked some questions about writing for radio plays which went well over my head. And, unfortunately, Bert Coules has shown up in a while he would have been the perfect responder.

MONday and Caroline still haven't shown up in quite a while.

Kyle, forwards or backwards, still has only three posts from Hawaii.

Jay/Jai hasn't slinked into MWS(m) using his real name anyhow.

We all got free Sony PSPs, courtesy of some kind person who shows up all the time offering free things "Laura," I think.

There have been some questions about MMS and Final Draft(?).

Jimmy Martin's son coaches for a high school team in Fort Lauderdale, which has been responsible for several good football players going to the University of Miami and the NFL.

A real guy, Michael Christensen, who runs a real company, Wicked RGB, from, I suppose a real country, Denmark?, is looking for a real script, which he wants to pay real money for (around 450,000 U.S. Dollars). See "Looking for a new script"

The motherboard on my G4 iMac died (third time in 7 months). Took it in about 4 weeks ago. Beginning of this week they called me and said they gave up on fixing that one. Gave me a brand spankin' new G5 iMac (2.0 GHz) with all options and a complete data transfer. Cool.

And now I'm back online too.

Took the wife and her good friend to see it. Wife was extremely skeptical due to poor reviews, as was I. It was better than we expected, with a bit of a story and good conflict and some clever lines in places. They expended more blank ammunition in two hours than some small countries in two decades. But for shoot-em-up junkies, it could be fun.

I endured about half the movie, then walked out. I found absolutely zero chemistry between Pitt and Jolie, and since neither one does anything for me, I was bored to tears. Not even the ********** scene designed for the 14 year-old vessels of raging male hormones managed to provoke the smallest reaction.
