Babies and.....

Would the proper phrase be...
The babies and I are feeling better.
OR
The babies and me are feeling better.
OR
Something entirely different that I'm missing?

Dear friend, The babies and I are feeling better is the grammatically correct option. The babies and me... as well as other utterances where a pronoun in the subject position stands in the objective case can sometimes be heard, but they are nonstandard.
