Awkward choice of wording

'Would you like to come with me and enjoy the game together?'

I am correcting an essay and found this question. The writer is inviting a friend to watch a game with him. I think that the choice of vocabulary is awkward, and that there is a problem somewhere but I'm blanking out and can't pinpoint the exact problem.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks a lot Clive.

I also thought of 'Would you like to enjoy watching the game together?'

The fact that she is joining is implied.

Thanks a lot!
