awesome? NOT!

OK, so here's my problem. As far as I know the word "awesome" has become pretty outdated/uncool/lame/etc. so I was wondering what slang(ish) adjectives a modern, stylish American/British young person would use to mean "excellent"

thanks for your help, dudes and dudesses.

Hi! One I heard of is "wicked". Listen to this audioclip from the BBC (mp3, around 700kb).
