"Awareness of it" vs "Its awareness"

Hi. The following sentences seem to be correct:

1. The court's decision comes into force from the moment of its rendering.

2. A truth is principally different from a moment of its recognition.

Could you check, whether the following sentence is correct?

3. A fact and a moment of its awareness are not necessarily identical.

That is, can "its awareness" be used not in the strictly possessive sense in similar cases but just as a substitute for "awareness of"?

Thanks.
