Awarding Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for a company

For the smooth operation of the Company, it is vital to have fully operating equipments, internet and networks. Since the institute do not have a specialized department for handling IT and other equipment based issues, it was decided to have an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) with a reputed IT service company for holistic solutions. Proposals were called verbally with five service providers in the market and received only four proposals from A company, B Company, C Company and D Company. We disqualified the proposal submitted by the D company as we received it the day after the call for proposals was closed and other bids had been opened i.e. on July 10, 2015. While comparing the proposals, it was found that the most competitive rate for the service is offered by A Company. The company’s clientele profile is commendable as well. Hence it was decided to award the bid to the same
