HiThis mudra fortifies the liver and the vegetative nervous system, helps one to compose oneself and awakens anticipationWhat does "awakens anticipation" mean here?

At first I thought it had something to do with "foreseeing" bur now I think it just means "waiting". It makes us to wait more eagerly for something. I think so.

Well, yes I think you'll know that for sure when you test it on yourself

But, I've checked the phrase and everywhere I've found it, it referred to the feeling of waiting for something.

Also, I might be wrong, but is this a complicated mudra or a simple one? Because, if the latter, knowing which planets are involved through the fingers used might also help a bit with the interpretation.

(Which fingers do you happen to use?)

All I know it's a liver mudra.

Optimism, hopefulness, restlessness and being eager for new experiences seem to be more typical features of him than intuition, which in turn would confirm what we've been thinking all along.

So, I'd vote then for the sense of waiting for something, flavoured perhaps with a pinch of optimism

(Also, if you want to use awaken and rather mean divination, awaken the intuition is a very frequent phrase, so I think it's even more probable that the author would have used that if he had meant something >psy<.)
