Aviator Producers

I was just reading the New York Times, a piece about four Aviator producers crowding on stage at the Globes. If all four producers did produce the film, why is that such a big problem. I realize it all started with "Shakespeare in Love" when there were five producers onstage at the Oscars, but it seems credit should be given where credit is due. Hell, the stage is big enough. Is this an egotripping thing or what?If ten producers supported my work, I'd want them all up there!
