How to write this nicely?

  • The average lifespan of a nurse is 7 years. After 7 years the nurse no longer feels like her patient are top priority and her work gets sloppy. That's when she should quit.

I believe that a nurse treats her patients the best for the first seven years of her profession.

After that period, the nurse doesn't feel like the patient is her first priority, and in most of the cases

she becomes careless. That's exactly when she should quit / stop working as a nurse.
