As the populations of developed countries grow older, several related problems can be anticipated. The growing population of elderly people laid a heavy burden on the healthcare system. Older people who are more prone to chronic conditions, such as heart attack or diabetes, need special medical treatments to be treated effectively. Besides, the ageing population is expected to be a huge tax burden for countries. Consequently, working adults have to work hard to contribute to the budget for the elderly like pension fund and health care fee.

There are several solution that governments could take to solve the problems described above. Firstly, the pension fund from the national subsidy will considerably decrease as governments increase the retirement age of citizens such as from 60 to 65 years old. In the developed world, such as Japan and America, the multitude of Japanese are still healthy enough to continue a productive working life. A second measure would be for tax money can be increased by immigration to increase the number of people working. Therefore, money from national budgets can be spent on vital healthcare and accommodation for the rising numbers of older citizens.
