Avenge or revenge

Suppose a boy unfriended me on facebook because I reacted haha on his photo and later on I blocked him to take revenge.

Now please explain what do we call this.

I avenged or revenged for something he did to me.

If possible please give an example on avenge and revenge thank you.

We only use avenge/reveng for very, very serious matters. For little things, we commonly use the idiom 'get one's own back '. eg A boy unfriended me on Facebook because I reacted 'haha' on his photo and later on I blocked him to get my own back.
