Automatic or Automated

I need to Know if the system im working in should be named: Automated Pallet Release or Automatic Pallet release.

The APR system works like this: A pallet arrives to a manual station through an assembly line , the operator works in the pallet, and when the fixed time for the manual assembly is exceded, the pallet is released through the assembly line without having to push any button.

I have lots of doubts if it should be Automatic or Automated.

Thank you very much.

I see none there. Did you check your dictionary?

an automatic machine or process works by itself rather than being operated by people
automated using machines or done by machines, instead of people
